What are Soffits & Fascia?

Soffits are located on the underside of a home’s exterior, usually found within arches and the overhang section of the roof. It hides the ventilation residing inside your home, and helps prevent the development of moisture and mold to your home’s interior while providing exterior elegance and beauty.

Fascia is the trim usually lying under the roof edge, running as a band horizontally across the home. The ends of fascia are mounted around your roof, creating a layer between the edge of the roof and the outside to block against weather damage as well as protect the roof and home’s interior.

When Should You Replace Soffits & Fascia?
